This class begins on Wednesday 1/8, and the last class is on 2/26.

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in a supportive and creative environment. Each week we’ll progress through the steps of turning a ball of clay into a finished and functional pot.

Pottery isn’t always easy, but it’s always rewarding in the end. You’re sure to come away from this class with new skills, a sense of accomplishment, and some little treasures to keep or gift.

These Intro classes are designed for those with no experience with clay, but will be valuable to anyone looking to build a solid foundation in a systematic way.

What you get:

Eight weeks of classes, meeting for three hours each week

One bag of clay (additional clay available for purchase)

Access to 45+ hours per week of open studio time to practice

Personal shelf (2' x 4') to store pots, clay, tools, etc.

Use of our glazes and underglazes

Use of the community tools and equipment
