Handful Studios welcomes everyone to try their hand at pottery — be it a wheel throwing class, a handbuilding class, or a one-day workshop.

Classes at Handful
Our classes run for 8 weeks, meeting once a week for a 3-hour session. Students can choose between wheel throwing or handbuilding, and our skilled instructors tailor their teaching to each student’s experience level—blending foundational techniques with new challenges as skills grow.

Join our waitlist! Before the next session begins, you’ll receive an email from Julian asking you for your class time preferences.

Absolutely! If you are going to miss a class, just email julian@handfulstudios.com to join another class as a makeup.

Nope! We don’t charge anything for firings. You just pay for your 8-week session, and that’s it. If you run out of clay before your session ends, you can pay for an additional bag, which costs $30.

Yes! We have a few types of clay to choose from, and we can explain what it’s like to work with each of them. Our students will also happily give you their opinion of each — just ask!
